Activate your HBO Max Subscription

Subscribers to the NOW Entertainment plan now have the new NOW Entertainment & HBO Max Membership, which includes the HBO Max Basic with Ads plan.

Here's how to activate your HBO Max subscription:

1. Once you get access to HBO Max through NOW, watch for an email from them.
2. You can also go to the NOW Help Centre, choose Need Help? and request the HBO Max activation link.
3. Open the message or link from NOW and choose the link in the activation email.
4. Enter a new email address or the existing email address associated with your HBO Max account.
5. If prompted, do one of the following:
• New subscribers: Complete the account form and choose Create Account.
• Returning subscribers: Check your inbox for an email sent by HBO Max (email subject: Time Sensitive: Your One-Time HBO Max Code) and enter the 6-digit code from your email. This email should arrive within a few minutes. Be sure to search all inbox folders (including Promotions, Junk, and Spam).
6. Choose Start Streaming and you're ready to go!

You can now sign in to HBO Max on any supported device using your HBO Max account.

If HBO Max Basic with Ads is included with your Sky subscription, you can activate it directly from your Sky device.

Note Make sure you're signed out from any HBO Max account on your Sky device before you start the activation process.

Here's how to activate:

1. On your Sky device home screen, choose HBO Max and choose Continue.
2. On the Welcome screen, choose Get Started.
3. Enter a new email address or the existing email address associated with your HBO Max account.
   Note If you subscribed to HBO Max via Sky in another country or region, you'll need to enter a new email address.
4. If prompted, do one of the following:
• New subscribers: Complete the account form and choose Create Account.
• Returning subscribers: Check your inbox for an email sent by HBO Max (email subject: Time Sensitive: Your One-Time HBO Max Code) and enter the 6-digit code from your email. This email should arrive within a few minutes. Be sure to search all inbox folders (including Promotions, Junk, and Spam).
5. Choose Start Streaming and you're ready to go!

You can now sign in to HBO Max on any supported device using your HBO Max account.

If you signed up for HBO Max through Prime Video, here's how to activate HBO Max:

1. On your phone or computer, go to HBOMax.com/login.
2. On the sign-in screen, choose create an HBO Max account (below Don't have an HBO Max account yet?).
3. Select Prime Video and then sign in to your Amazon account.
4. Do one of the following:

• New subscribers: Follow the New subscribers steps above to create your HBO Max account.
• Returning subscribers: Follow the Returning subscribers steps above to link your subscription to your existing account.

HBO Max Basic with Ads is available with the Sky Ultimate package. You can activate any HBO Max plan purchased directly through Sky from your Sky device.

Note Make sure you're signed out from any HBO Max account on your Sky device before you start the activation process.

Here's how to activate:

1. On your Sky home screen, choose HBO Max and choose Continue.
2. On the Welcome screen, choose Get Started.
3. Enter a new email address or the existing email address associated with your HBO Max account.
   Note If you subscribed to HBO Max via Sky in another country or region, you'll need to enter a new email address.
4. If prompted, do one of the following:
• New subscribers: Complete the account form and choose Create Account.
• Returning subscribers: Check your inbox for an email sent by HBO Max (email subject: Time Sensitive: Your One-Time HBO Max Code) and enter the 6-digit code from your email. This email should arrive within a few minutes. Be sure to search all inbox folders (including Promotions, Junk, and Spam).
5. Choose Start Streaming and you're ready to go!

You can now sign in to HBO Max on any supported device using your HBO Max account.

To create your HBO Max account:

1. On the first HBO Max screen, enter an email address for your HBO Max account and choose Continue.
   (If you previously had HBO Max, follow the Returning subscribers steps below.)
2. Complete the Create Your Account form and choose Create Account. You'll sign in with this info.
3. Choose Start Streaming and you're ready to stream.

Now, you can sign in on any supported device using your HBO Max email and password.

To link your new subscription to your existing HBO Max account, do the following:

1. On the first HBO Max screen, enter the email address for your existing HBO Max account and choose Continue.
2. Check your inbox for an email from HBO Max with a one-time code (email subject: Your One-Time HBO Max Code).
3. Enter the code from the email.
4. Confirm that you want to connect the subscription billed through your provider to your existing HBO Max account.
5. Choose Start Streaming and you're ready to stream.

Now, you can sign in on any supported device using your HBO Max email and password.

Didn't get the one-time code email?

• Search all of your inbox folders for an email from HBO Max (including your Promotions, Junk, and Spam folder).
• Choose Get New Code on the enter code screen and check your email again.
