HBO Max | Find out how to connect your internet, mobile, or TV provider to your HBO Max account so you can start streaming.

If you received activation instructions when you signed up for HBO Max, follow the instructions to activate your HBO Max subscription.

Enter the email address for your existing HBO Max account and choose Continue.
Check your inbox for an email from HBO Max with a one-time code.
Enter the code from the email.
Confirm that you want to connect the subscription billed through your provider to your existing HBO Max account.
Choose Start Streaming.

Now you can sign in on any supported device using your HBO Max email and password.

Search all of your inbox folders for an email from HBO Max, including Promotions, Junk, and Spam.

Choose Get New Code and check your email again.

If you didn't get activation instructions when you signed up for HBO Max, follow these steps:

Open HBO Max and choose Sign in.
Choose Create an HBO Max account.
Choose who you get HBO Max (or HBO) through or search for their name.
My provider isn't listed.
Complete the Connect Your Account form and choose Submit.
Enter an email address for your HBO Max account.
Do one of the following:
New subscribers: Complete the account form and choose Create Account.
Returning subscribers: Check your inbox for an email from HBO Max and enter the 6-digit code.
Choose who's watching and you're ready to stream.

If you get this message, make sure HBO Max is included with your internet, mobile, or TV package.

If your provider account is already linked to another HBO Max account, try signing in with your HBO Max email and password instead.

Make sure you can sign in on your provider's website first.

You may have signed up in another country or region with that email address.
