A newly enhanced HBO Max app is coming in June.
Here's what you need to know:
With the enhanced HBO Max app, you'll be able to access everything you love from HBO Max, like HBO, Max Originals, and Warner Bros. movies, alongside unmissable live sports, and other favorites. Plus, you'll be able to watch every moment of the Olympic Games Paris 2024 with every HBO Max plan!

As well as new features like enhanced personalization and improved search, the enhanced HBO Max app includes a newly expanded library across true crime, documentaries, reality, food, family and home, plus live sports events:
The enhanced app will include:
- The best of HBO Max: Stream iconic series, hit movies, and more from HBO, Warner Bros., Cartoon Network, and Adult Swim.
- Discovery favorites: The best real-life shows from your favorite TV brands: Discovery, TLC, and more.
Changes we're making:
- Enhanced personalization and improved search
- Improved performance
- Easier to sign in and use
- Profile PIN for Adult and Kids profiles
- New hubs, including genres
If you subscribe to HBO Max through us or an app store, your subscription price won't change for at least 60 days after the launch of enhanced HBO Max. On your next renewal date on or after July 23, your price will change to the then-current Standard plan price. We'll let you know more details closer to the change.
If you subscribe through an internet, mobile, or TV provider, your provider will let you know of any price changes.

If you subscribe to HBO Max through an app store or directly through us (at HBOMax.com), you'll keep your current plan features and functionality. We'll let you know in advance if we need to make changes to your plan features in the future.

Channels and live content where included in any plan will contain ads. Not all content will be available on Basic with Ads. On-demand content may include sponsorship and product placement.
And we’re introducing a new sports add-on that you can add to any base plan:

- Enjoy live cycling, UFC, and more

Apple-billed subscriber? If you want to watch sports on HBO Max, you can choose the Premium & Sports plan.

The enhanced HBO Max app will be available on phones, tablets, computers, TVs, streaming players, set-top boxes, and game consoles.
For a better streaming experience, update your iPhone or iPad software to the latest version. Here's how:

- If you can't update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch to iOS 14 or later, try switching to a different supported device for a better experience.
Yes. Your profiles, watch history, and your HBO Max settings will be available in the enhanced HBO Max app. Once enhanced HBO Max is available, you will need to redownload your shows and movies.
Customized profile pictures aren't available on the enhanced app at this time.
Yes. The Olympic Games Paris 2024 will be included with every Max base plan.
