2026 March Madness® on HBO Max
HBO Max will stream a selection of 2026 March Madness® games from the First Four, First Round, Second Round, Sweet 16, Elite 8, and Final Four (including the championship) games (the live games and studio coverage from TBS, TNT, and truTV).
March Madness® coverage will be available to HBO Max subscribers with the Standard or Premium plan. The first live games will stream on Tuesday, March 17.

How do I watch March Madness® on HBO Max?
Standard and Premium subscribers can watch a selection of 2026 Men's March Madness® games throughout the Tournament, including the 2026 First Round, Second Round, Sweet 16, Elite 8, and Final Four (including the championship) games.
To watch March Madness® games on HBO Max:
- Choose Sports (top of the screen). Here you'll find live March Madness® games, upcoming games, game replays, and highlights from recent games.
- Choose the live stream you want to watch.
- Choose Watch Live to watch the game in progress or Watch from Start
to start watching from the beginning.
You can find a list of upcoming March Madness® games by choosing Sports in HBO Max.
Replays of March Madness® games are available on HBO Max for a limited time after the live broadcast.
Note There are no blackout restrictions for March Madness® games.

When more than one March Madness® game is broadcast on HBO Max at the same time, you can choose from pre-set Multiview streams.
Things to know about Multiview:
- Multiview: To watch more action on one screen, choose a pre-set Multiview stream (go to Sports and choose a live sport with Multiview).
- Supported devices: Multiview is available on computers and TV devices.
- Change focus: Use the directional buttons on your TV remote (or computer keyboard) to switch between views.
- Audio: By default, audio plays for the top-left view. When you change the focus, the audio changes to the focused view.
- Full screen: Switch the focus to the view you want to expand, then press the select button on your TV remote (Enter on your computer keyboard) to enter Full screen. To return to the Multiview stream, go back and restart the Multiview.
- Captions: Captions appear at the bottom of the screen for the focused view. To turn captions on or off, enter Full screen, choose the Audio and Subtitles icon
, then choose English - CC or Off. For more info, go to Subtitles, captions, and audio.
- Alerts: Alerts let you know about key moments in other March Madness® games. Select an alert to switch to that game. To turn alerts on or off, choose the Alerts icon in the upper-right corner of the video player.
Note You can't change which March Madness® games are in the pre-set Multiviews.
