  • Up to 30 offline downloads (limits apply)

Premium

  • Stream on 4 devices at once
  • 4K UHD and Dolby Atmos as available
  • Up to 100 offline downloads (limits apply)

Plans auto-renew monthly or yearly unless cancelled. Channels & live content (where available) contain ads. All plans may contain sponsorship and Cross-Promotional Content.

Which base plan do I have?

Here's how to find your subscription plan:

  1. In HBO Max, do one of the following:
    • Phone, tablet, or computer: Choose your profile and then Subscription.
    • TV device: Choose the Settings icon cog (lower left) and then Subscription.
      (Only Adult profiles can manage subscriptions.)
  2. Here you'll find your current plan and billing period.

How do I change plans?

Depending on your provider, you may be able to change your subscription plan. Here's how:

  1. In HBO Max, do one of the following:
    • Phone, tablet, or computer: Choose your profile and then Subscription.
    • TV device: Choose the Settings icon cog (lower left) and then Subscription.
      (Only Adult profiles can manage subscriptions.)
  2. Take note of who your subscription is billed through and find them below:

To change plans, cancel your subscription, wait for it to expire, then resubscribe to HBO Max and choose a different plan.
'Plan change unavailable' message

If you get this message, try the following:

  • To change your plan, you need to be located in the country where you started your subscription. If you're traveling, wait until you return home to change your subscription plan.
  • Try changing your plan again in a few minutes.
