Max Originals are original series and movies produced for HBO Max. To find Max Originals:

To find Discovery titles:

Find the Brand Spotlight row and choose Discovery.
Search for 'Discovery.'

Sports (where available)

Choose Sport.
Find the Brand Spotlight row and choose Sport (if available).
Search for 'Sports.'

Warner Bros. (e.g., Harry Potter)

To find Warner Bros. shows and movies:

Find the Brand Spotlight row and choose Harry Potter.
Search for 'Harry Potter' or a show or movie title.

Browse by genre

On the Home screen, find the Browse by Genre row or choose Categories (if available). Then choose the genre you'd like (e.g., Action or Reality).

Kids & Family

To browse Kids & Family titles:

Find the Browse by Genre row and then choose Kids & Family.

You can create a Kids profile that limits what content ratings your child can watch. When a Kids profile is selected, your child can browse by Movies, Series, Characters, and brands.

When are HBO shows added to HBO Max?

Most new HBO shows and movies are available on HBO Max when they air on HBO in the United States.

HBO live shows and events require time to be prepared for HBO Max. Such content is usually available within 24 hours of the original broadcast.

Why isn't a show or movie available anymore?

Some movies, shows, and sports events (where available) are available for a limited time only.

Shows and movies on HBO Max are rated by NICAM's (Netherlands Institute for Classification of Audio-visual Media) Kijkwijzer system.

How do I find shows and movies from my country and other countries?

Here's how to find programming from other regions:

Scroll down to the Discover our Collections row and choose Made in (country).
Choose the program you want to watch.

To find international content, choose the Search icon and then enter the title of the program you want to watch.

Can I share what I’m watching with friends?

You can share what you’re watching using the HBO Max mobile app:

On your phone or tablet, select the movie or series you want to share (you can share a series, but not individual episodes).
Choose the Share icon and then the app you want to share to (e.g., Messages, Instagram, Facebook, or X).

Note The Share feature is only available with Adult profiles.

Can I buy titles on a pay-per-view basis?

No. HBO Max doesn't currently offer pay-per-view shows or events.
