HBO Max billing Q&A
Here are some frequently asked questions and answers:
Paying for HBO Max
HBO Max is available at HBOMax.com from many providers and prices vary by provider and by country. For pricing info see HBOMax.com.
Depending on your location, you may be charged local taxes. Some financial institutions may add transaction fees if you aren't using a local payment method. These fees are charged by your bank—contact your bank directly if you have any questions.
If your charge looks different than you expected, here are a few possible reasons:
- Applicable taxes are added to your subscription charge and they're based on your current location.
- You may have a different billing period than you thought (yearly or monthly).
- Your promotional or discounted period may have ended and you were charged the standard subscription rate.
If none of these reasons apply and you're billed through us (HBO Nordic AB), contact us. If you're billed through another company, contact them for help.
If you sign up through us at HBOMax.com, you can use Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, and iDEAL (Netherlands only).
Your credit or debit card needs to support automatic recurring payments and be issued in the country where you signed up.
If you subscribe through...
