Update HBO Max to enhanced HBO Max

Here's how to update from HBO Max to the enhanced HBO Max app:

On devices where you have the existing HBO Max app, go to the app store on your device, search for HBO Max, and choose the download option.

Once you've installed the enhanced HBO Max app, you can delete the previous HBO Max app from your device.

Here's how to update to enhanced HBO Max on your phone or tablet:

Amazon Fire Tablet

On your Amazon Fire tablet:

  1. Open the Appstore and search for HBO Max.
  2. Choose HBO Max and then the download option.
  3. Open HBO Max and sign in.

If you can't download the HBO Max app, try updating your Amazon Fire Tablet:

  • Open the Settings menu, then choose Device Options > System Updates > Update.
  • Once updated, try downloading HBO Max again.
Android phone or tablet

On your Android phone or tablet:

  1. Open the Play Store and search for HBO Max.
  2. Choose HBO Max and then Install.
  3. Open HBO Max and sign in.

If you can't download the HBO Max app, try updating your Android device:
