Restore an app store subscription

If you're prompted to subscribe when you have an active HBO Max subscription through an app store (Apple, Google, or Samsung TV), try restoring your subscription. Here's how:

  1. Open the HBO Max app on the phone, tablet, or TV device where you subscribed.
  2. If you're already signed in, sign out.
  3. Choose a show or movie and then choose Sign In.
  4. Choose Restore Purchase. If we find an active HBO Max subscription in the app store, we'll restore it. Otherwise, see the Can't verify your subscription section below.

Once your subscription is restored, you can sign in and stream on any supported device.
