Mastercard and HBO Max offered a 30-day free trial of HBO Max to qualifying Mastercard holders through select participating card issuers. After the 30-day free trial, customers pay the then-current monthly subscription rate (currently €8,99/month, plus applicable taxes).

To qualify for this offer, you needed to:

  • Be an active Mastercard holder through a participating issuer
  • Be a new HBO Max subscriber
  • Be a resident of Spain who is 18 years or older

When will my card be charged?

After the 30-day free trial, your card was charged the then current subscription rate for the HBO Max monthly subscription plan. Your subscription auto-renews each month until you cancel your subscription.

What are the terms and conditions for this offer?

Mastercard cardholders who utilize their HBO Max promotional code between 17th of January 2022 and 23rd of February 2022, may be eligible for a 30-day free trial of HBO Max. Participants must be new HBO Max subscribers, have a place of residence in Spain, 18 years or older, and use the promotional code to subscribe to HBO Max by 28th of February 2022 at 11:59 pm CET. The offer requires provision of a valid payment method for continued access to HBO Max after the free trial. After the free trial period, the subscription fee for HBO Max will be charged to the participant’s payment method, unless the subscription is canceled before the expiration of the free trial period. The promotional codes will be distributed on a first come, first served basis while supplies last. Promotional codes are non-transferable. Limit one code per cardholder. This offer cannot be combined with any other promotional offer for HBO Max.
