Manage devices using my account

You can see a list of devices that you've signed in to with your account (see steps below). There's no limit on the number of devices you can use with your account, however, the number of simultaneous streams is limited.

Which device are you using?

To manage devices on your phone or tablet:

  1. Open HBO Max on your phone or tablet.
  2. Tap your profile (upper right) and then the Settings icon (cog, upper right).
  3. Tap or scroll to Devices. Tap Manage Devices (if available). (Only Adult profiles can manage devices.)
  4. Here you can see a list of devices that have used your account, along with when they were Last Used. Devices are automatically added to this list when you sign in on a device.
  5. Remove any devices that you no longer use or own. To do this, tap X to sign out of the device.

To manage devices on your computer:

  1. Go to HBOMax.com on your computer and sign in.
  2. Choose your profile (upper right), choose Settings, and scroll down to Devices.
  3. Choose Manage Devices (Manage Devices is only available with Adult profiles).
  4. Here you can see a list of devices that have used your account, along with when they were Last Used. Devices are automatically added to this list when you sign in on a device.
  5. Remove any devices that you no longer use or own. To do this, click X to sign out of the device.

New device sign in

When a new device signs in to your account, an email with the following info is sent to your account email address:

  • When (date and time)
  • Device
  • Where (the approximate device location)
