Resubscribe to HBO Max

If you subscribed to HBO Max in the past, here's how you can subscribe to HBO Max using your existing account (this way you'll have your profiles, My List, and watch history).

Ways to resubscribe

Here are the ways you can resubscribe to HBO Max:

HBO.Max.com

Here's how to resubscribe on the web:

Go to HBO.max.com and sign in with your HBO Max (or HBO Max) account. Can't sign in?
Choose Start Streaming (if available).
On the Welcome Back screen, choose Sign Up Now.
Choose a subscription plan and billing period, then continue.
Add your payment method and start your subscription.
Choose Start Streaming and you're ready to stream.

Now you can sign in and stream HBO Max on any supported devices.

HBO Max app

Here's how to resubscribe through an app store (e.g., Apple or Google):

Open HBO Max and sign in to your HBO Max account. Can't sign in?
Choose Renew Subscription.
Choose a subscription plan and billing period.
Follow the on-screen instructions to subscribe through the app store.
Choose Start Streaming and you're ready to stream.

Now you can sign in and stream HBO Max on any supported devices.

Internet, mobile, or TV provider

Here's how to resubscribe through a provider:

Step 1: Subscribe

Contact a provider and subscribe to HBO Max (or HBO).

Step 2: Activate your HBO Max subscription

Once you've signed up, you need to activate your HBO Max subscription before you can start streaming HBO Max.

Troubleshooting

Can't stream after resubscribing?

Try signing out and then back in again. Here's how:

In HBO Max, do one of the following:
- Phone, tablet, or computer: Choose your profile and then choose Sign Out.
- TV device: Choose the Settings icon and then Sign Out.
Sign in to HBO Max and try to watch something.
