Can't sign in to account
If you're having trouble signing in with your HBO Max account, choose the device you're using below.

Here are some things to try:
Try signing in to HBO Max on another supported device (computer or TV).
If you can't sign in on any device, try resetting your password. Here's how:
- Go to HBOMax.com/forgot-password.
- Enter your account email and then choose Submit.
- Check your inbox for a 'Reset Your HBO Max Password' email sent by HBO Max. This email should arrive within a few minutes.
No reset password email?This means the email you entered isn't in use by an HBO Max account. Do you have another email address? Repeat these steps for each of your email addresses. Need help? See Can't reset password
- Open the 'Reset Your HBO Max Password' email and choose Reset Password.
- Enter a new password and then choose Save Password.
Now sign in to HBO Max using your account email and new password.
If you signed up through an appstore using the HBO Max app, try restoring your subscription:
- Open the HBO Max app on the device where you subscribed to HBO Max.
- On the sign-in screen, choose Restore Purchase.

Try clearing the HBO Max cache:
- Go to Settings on your Android device.
- Tap Search and type HBO Max.
- Choose HBO Max from the search results.
- Tap Storage & cache or Storage.
- Tap Clear cache.
- Open HBO Max and try signing in again.
Delete the HBO Max app from your phone or tablet and install it again. Then, open HBO Max and try signing in again.

Now sign in to HBO Max using your account email and new password.
- Make sure you're using a supported browser.
- Check to see if there's an update available for your browser. To find out how to do this, search the Internet for update + the name of your browser (i.e. update Chrome).
Try using another supported browser. This will help determine if the issue is limited to a particular browser. Make sure cookies are enabled in your browser.
- Clear your browser's cookies for HBOMax.com. To find out how to do this, search your browser's help for 'cookies.'
- Close and reopen your browser.
- Go to HBOMax.com and try signing in again.
If you still can't sign in on your computer, try clearing your browser's cache. To find out how to do this, search your browser's help for 'clear cache.'

- Enter your account email and then choose Submit.

- Open the 'Reset Your HBO Max Password' email and choose Reset Password.
- Enter a new password and then choose Save Password.
Now sign in to HBO Max using your account email and new password.
If you signed up through an appstore using the HBO Max app, try restoring your subscription:
- Open the HBO Max app on the device where you subscribed to HBO Max.
- On the sign-in screen, choose Restore Purchase.

If you can sign in on another device (just not on your TV), go to Sign in with HBO Max account and find the Code not working heading.
Delete the HBO Max app from your TV device and then reinstall HBO Max from the app store. Then, open HBO Max and try signing in again.
