Sign in through Cricket Wireless

On your TV:

1. Open HBO Max, choose the Profile icon and then choose Sign In.
   If you're already signed in, see How do I sign out?
2. Choose Sign in with a Provider.
   Apple TV

   If prompted, choose Don’t Allow when asked if HBO Max can use your TV provider subscription.
3. Stay on the screen with the 6-character code while you grab your phone or computer to finish signing in.


Now, on your phone or computer:

4. Open a web browser and go to: hbomax.com/activate.
5. Enter the 6-character code from your TV and choose Next. Code not working?
6. Choose Cricket as your provider or choose View All Providers and then Cricket Wireless.
7. Enter your Cricket Wireless username and password (for your Cricket Wireless account with an Unlimited plan), and then choose Sign In. Can't sign in? See Cricket's Forgot Username of Password article
   Can't verify your subscription message

   If you get a ‘Can’t verify your subscription’ error, sign in to your account at cricketwireless.com/login.html and make sure you have one of the following three plans: Unlimited Cricket More, Unlimited Cricket Extra, or the Unlimited Cricket Max plan.
   If you're prompted to create an account:

   • New to HBO Max? Enter your name and an email address and then choose Create Account.
   • Already have an account? Enter your name and your existing account email address and then choose Create Account. Then, on the Account Found screen choose Verify Email Address. If you need help with this, see Account found: Verify email address.
8. Go back to your TV, choose who's watching and you're ready to stream.

Cox device, LG TV, Samsung TV, VIZIO Smart TV, Xbox, XClass TV, or an Xfinity device

On your TV device:

1. Open HBO Max, choose the Profile icon , and then choose Sign In.

2. Stay on the screen with the 6-character code while you grab your phone or computer to finish signing in.


Now, on your phone or computer:

   Apple TV and Xbox consoles: You can use your phone's camera to scan the QR code on your TV.

6. Choose Cricket as your provider or choose View All Providers and then Cricket Wireless.

8. Go back to your TV, choose who's watching and you're ready to stream.

Here are some things to try:

• Enter the code from your TV at hbomax.com/activate on your computer instead of your phone (or vice versa).
• Try using a different web browser: Chrome, FireFox, Microsoft Edge, or Safari.
• Try clearing your browser data. Here's how:
  • iPhone or iPad: On your iOS device, go to Settings > Safari, then scroll down and tap Clear History and Website Data. To learn more, go to Clear Safari.
