'Currently Unavailable' message

If you're getting a 'Currently Unavailable' message when you open HBO Max, it means that your provider doesn't currently support HBO Max. We'd like to make HBO Max available to as many HBO and HBO NOW subscribers as possible.

Not sure who your provider is?

Your provider is who you signed up through or who bills you each month for HBO. Here's how to find your billing provider:

  1. Go to HBONOW.com on your computer and sign in to your HBO NOW account.
  2. Choose your profile in the upper-right corner and then choose Billing Information. Here you can see who your subscription is billed through.

How do I stream HBO?

Here's how you can continue streaming HBO:

  • Stream on your computer at HBONOW.com.
  • Install the HBO app on a device listed below.

Devices with the HBO app:

  • Amazon Fire TV
  • Amazon Fire tablets (4th gen and later)
  • Roku (3rd gen and later)

To install HBO on one of these devices, open the app store, search for HBO, and then install the app.

Prime Video
If you subscribe to the HBO channel through Prime Video Channels, you can continue streaming the HBO channel using the Prime Video app.
