Can I get a refund?

Refunds policies vary by billing provider. Your billing provider is who you pay each month for your subscription.

First, find out who your subscription is billed through:

  1. Sign in to HBO Max on your phone or tablet, or on your computer at
  2. Do one of the following:
    • Phone or tablet: Tap the Profile icon, then the Settings icon (upper-left).
    • Computer: Choose the Profile icon (upper-right).
  3. Choose Billing Information and find who your subscription is billed through.
  4. Who is your subscription billed through?
    • Warner Media Direct: There is a no refund policy for subscriptions billed directly through WarnerMedia.
    • Another provider: Contact your billing provider with regard to any refund requests for charges.
